central Nebraska.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through the forecast
area today into tonight. The threat of severe weather appears low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A cool front will likely bring a round of thunderstorms to the area
Tuesday evening. At this time, the overall threat of severe weather
is low, but trends will be monitored in future forecasts.

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

A marginal risk of severe thunderstorms starts just after noon and
lasts into the evening hours. Primary hazards will be wind gusts up
to 60 mph, hail up to the size of half dollars, and locally excessive
rainfall which could produce localized flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered to likely showers and isolated thunderstorms are
expected today for much of the forecast area. There could be
small hail, moderate rainfall and wind gusts up to 35 mph with
the showers and thunderstorms. The snow level will be about 9,500
feet. No travel impacts are anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Scattered showers and thunderstorms most, although more isolated
Monday in the plains. Increasing precipitation potential Tuesday
and again Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However,
any snowfall reports from the high country will be appreciated.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, south
central South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop along a settling
front later this afternoon. Storms may begin to form around 3pm
and will continue to move southeast through the evening. While
severe weather is not anticipated with this activity, a few
thunderstorms may produce 50 mph winds and small hail. Any
thunderstorm activity will quickly weaken by sunset.

Smoke from Canadian wildfires may drift southward late Sunday
evening and continue into Monday morning. In addition to the
potential for a hazy sky, minor air quality impacts may be
possible.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Wildfire smoke may linger into the daytime hours of Monday. In
addition to hazy skies, there is a low potential for air quality
impacts through the day.

Additional thunderstorm activity is anticipated late Tuesday through
Wednesday. At this time, the risk for severe storms remains low.

portions of north central Kansas.

A few thunderstorms are possible during the daytime hours today,
possibly increasing in coverage this evening. Severe weather is
not anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Off and on chances for thunderstorms are anticipated for much of
the upcoming week, with highest of these chances being early in
the day on Monday and again Tuesday evening into Wednesday.
Severe weather is not expected at this time, though a few strong
storms can`t be ruled out.
